Parties for children cost £10 per child. This covers the jewellery they make, hire of tools and room, member(s) of staff to run party, exclusive use of upstairs workshop room, drinks and some snacks (typically biscuits, buns, crisps).
Each child can make a necklace, bracelet and a pair of earrings, all of which they take home with them. The parties last approximately 1.5 hours, depending on how quickly the children work, their age, the size of the group.
We can accommodate between 6 and 14 children.
We pick the beads for the party beforehand, taking into account the age of the children. Every child gets their own pot of beads and, rather than a classroom style teaching environment, we encourage the children to each design their own pieces allowing the children to chat amongst themselves and also for creative juices to flow. It also means that each child leaves with something different and exclusively designed to their liking.
We can hold parties on any day and at any time to suit you, as long as there is no other event already planned for that time.
Parties are held in the upstairs workshop room at Jam Jar Beads. We're based in the heart of Sheffield's city centre so parents of party guests can wander around town while the party happens.
